Molto apprezzato dalla critica, "Daft Punk's Electroma" è l'ultimo film (in ordine di tempo) dei Daft Punk. Il duo francese fa tutto da sè: scrive la sceneggiatura, si occupa della regia e della fotografia. La trama gira intorno a due robot che cercano di diventare umani a qualsiasi costo. Il film è muto, le azioni dei protagonisti vanno interpretate attraverso la musica che accompagna il film per tutta la sua durata. Curioso notare come, a differenza dei due precedenti film del duo transalpino (D.A.F.T.: A Story About Dogs, Androids, Firemen and Tomatoes e Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem), la musica dei Daft Punk non appare nella colonna sonora.Un utente di YouTube ha caricato il film per intero sul suo canale e noi lo giriamo a voi. The film is silent, the actions of the protagonists must be interpreted through the music that accompanies the film throughout its duration.
