Il classico di oggi è diverso dai precedenti. Non è stata una grande hit mondiale al tempo in cui uscì ma lo fu solo in Giappone, paese di cui è originario il gruppo Yellow Magic Orchestra che compose il classico in questione. Vi parlo di questo gruppo e di "Technopolis" perchè sono appassionato della cultura Giapponese. La scena musicale del paese del Sol levante è stata pressochè sconosciuta al mondo sino al 1983 circa, anno dell'esplosione di "Forbidden Colours" di Ryuichi Sakamoto (ex componente della Yellow Magic Orchestra a cui è accreditata la composizione di Technopolis) perciò si sa poco sulla musica Giapponese pre-1983. "Technopolis" è tratto dal secondo album della band uscito nel 1979 ed è uno dei primi esempi di synthpop (genere che spopolò a livello mondiale a metà anni 80), il sound è caratterizzato dall'ampio uso di tastiere, sintetizzatori, computers e da un ritmo veloce e allegro. L'ho sentita per la prima volta durante un spot di Mtv in cui faceva da colonna sonora e ho passato un pò di tempo a cercarla. Beh spero di non avervi annoiato con tutte queste parole, ora potete godervi questa favolosa canzone ;)
Today's classic is different from previous ones. It wasn't a huge worldwide hit at the time of its release but it was only in Japan, the country of which comes from the band Yellow Magic Orchestra who composed the classic in question. I speak about this group and of "Technopolis" because I am fond of Japanese culture. The music scene in the country of the rising sun was almost unknown to the world until about 1983, the year of the explosion of "Forbidden Colours" by Ryuichi Sakamoto (former member of Yellow Magic Orchestra, which is credited with the composition of Technopolis) so you know little about the Japanese music pre-1983. "Technopolis" is taken from the band's second album released in 1979 and is one of the first examples of synthpop (musical genre that became famous in the world in the mid-80), the sound is characterized by extensive use of keyboards, synthesizers, computers and a fast and cheerful rhythm. I heard it for the first time during a Mtv spot in which it was the soundtrack and I spent some time looking for it. Well I hope not to have bored with all these words, you can now enjoy this great song ;)

After an immense number of singles and remixes which have caused the destruction of the repeat button on our mp3 players, We are super happy to dedicate the "nth" page to our favorite Italian producer and His latest job. "Impressions From The Past" is Le Nonsense's first EP and second release on the Italian label Kaleydowave (We missed the first release but You can find it here). Now usually You read something about the content of the EP and some comments about tracks but since We really don't know how to describe these marvelous sounds and in more we are also been left speechless by them, the only thing We want to write is a little question (in his idiom) referred to the Producer:
