CeCe Peniston - Finally (12" Choice Mix)

 

Questa è davvero una di quelle canzoni che non dimentichi mai. Con quella voce femminile che canta quasi rappando e la sua melodia fatta di un riff fantastico di piano e archi. "Finally" di CeCe Peniston ha venduto 3 milioni di copie in tutto il mondo scalando le classifiche sin dalla prima release nel lontano 1991, ripetendosi anni dopo grazie ai molteplici remix da parte di gente del calibro di David Morales e Paul Oakenfold. Quella che vi presentiamo è una delle prime versioni extended, quella che Io preferisco. Buon Ascolto ;)

This is really one of those songs that you never forget. With that female voice that sings almost rapping and its melody made by a fantastic riff of piano and strings. "Finally"  by CeCe Peniston has sold 3 million copies worldwide climbing the charts since its first release in 1991, repeating the success years later thanks to remixes by people like David Morales and Paul Oakenfold. Inner City - Ahnonghay (Dave Clarke Remix)

Un bel modo per iniziare la giornata. Cioè Inner City (aka Kevin Saunderson) + Dave Clarke. Nel 1994 (anno della release di questo vinile) la Detroit Techno era ai massimi livelli e si può dire che ogni pezzo pubblicato è passato alla storia. "Ahnonghay" è uno di questi perciò godetevelo nella sua versione remixata da un mostro sacro come Dave Clarke. =)

Junior Jack - Da Hype

Vito Lucente. Forse questo nome non vi dice niente ma sono sicuro che lo conoscete tutti. E se vi dico "Junior Jack"? Ora lo ricordate eh?! XD Correva l'anno 2003 e dopo le hit "Thrill Me", "E Samba" e moltri altri successi ottenuti con altri pseudonimi (Benny B, Room 5 o Mr. Jack) il DJ e produttore italo-belga lanciava sul mercato "Da Hype", singolo caratterizzato da un sample di "I'm So Hot For You" di Bobby Orlando ed una parte vocale cantata nientepopodimenoche da Robert Smith....si, quello dei The Cure!! Beh ora però godetevi questo pezzo di storia ;)

New Order - Blue Monday

Il singolo 12" più venduto di tutti i tempi. Basterebbe questa frase come presentazione per la mitica "Blue Monday" degli Inglesi New Order. Rilasciata per la prima volta nel 1983 scalò le classifiche piazzandosi in poco tempo al primo posto nella UK Indipendent Singles Chart. Venne ripubblicata altre 2 volte, la prima nel 1988 in una versione lievemente rivisitata dal titolo "Blue Monday 1988" e nel 1995 con un altro remix dal nome "Blue Monday-95". E' considerato l'inno della musica Dance Club. Ma basta con le parole! Schiacciate play e cominciate a ballare! =)

Released for the first time in 1983 climbed the charts quickly peaking first place in the UK Independent Singles Chart. Breakbot - Fantasy (feat. Ruckazoid) + Jacques Renault & Video Village Remixes

Una canzone che non mi stanco mai di ascoltare. Infatti credo che sia tra le migliori canzoni di sempre. Sto parlando di "Fantasy" del mitico Breakbot (che qui collabora con Ruckazoid) che ci allieta, come sempre, con le sue melodie coinvolgenti e inconfondibili.
Perciò godetevi la canzone che pubblichiamo qui sotto. Come se non bastasse, vi proponiamo anche due remix: il primo è opera di Jacques Renault che aggiunge un pò di French Touch alla traccia originale mentre il secondo arriva da Video Village che la trasforma in una meravigliosa ninnananna. Buon Ascolto =)

A song that I never get tired of listening. In fact I think it's one of the best songs ever. I'm talking about "Fantasy" of the mythical Breakbot (which here collaborates with Ruckazoid) who delights us, as always, with its engaging and unmistakable melodies.

Deetron - Starblazer

Fino a questo momento mai avevamo trattato un dj proveniente dalla Svizzera..ebbene ora eccolo quì, lui è Deetron!Il pezzo in questione riflette in toto la sua filosofia, ovvero quella di fondere assieme due scuole di pensiero, una è quella che pone al centro il vinile, essenza del mixing, l'altra fa riferimento ai nuovi strumenti tecnologici utilizzati per produrre e mixare. Lui dice che non sono in antitesi...anche noi!!!

Till now we have not dealed with a dj that came from Switzerland..but now here he is, his name is Deetron!This tune totally reflects his philosphy, that is the fusion of two way of thinking, one focused on the vinyl, essence of mixing, the other one is focused on the new technological instrument used for producing and mixing. He says that there's no antithesis between them..we too!!!

Para One - Mother EP (Snippets)

Oggi sembra essere il giorno delle anteprime. Questa volta tocca al nuovo EP di Para One dal titolo "Mother", in uscita per la Marble Music. La title track è un concentrato di Techno ed Electrofunk, uno dei migliori pezzi che io abbia ascoltato nell'ultimo periodo. Il remix da parte di Mr. Oizo perde un pò cattiveria ma conserva la sua particolare sonorità. Infine c'è "Compute", messa su con la collaborazione di Surkin, il cui riff è decisamente ipnotico! Buon ascolto ;)

Today seems to be the day of previews. This time is the turn for the new EP by Para One entitled "Mother", to be released for Marble Music. The title track is a mix of Techno and Electrofunk, one of the best tracks I've heard recently. The remixe by Mr. Oizo loses a little bit evilness but retains its unique sound. Finally there is "Compute", putting up with the collaboration of Surkin, which riff is quite hypnotic! Good listening;)
