Inner City è il nome di un progetto fondato nel 1987 dal DJ statunitense Kevin Saunderson (riconosciuto come componente del Trio di Belleville, fondatori della musica Techno) insieme alla cantante Paris Grey. Il primo disco del duo dal titolo "Big Fun" viene lanciato nel 1988 e si piazza al primo posto della US Dance Chart e così fanno i 3 singoli successivi "Good Life", "Ain't Nobody Better" e "Do You Love What You Feel". Molto apprezzato dalla critica, "Daft Punk's Electroma" è l'ultimo film (in ordine di tempo) dei Daft Punk. Il duo francese fa tutto da sè: scrive la sceneggiatura, si occupa della regia e della fotografia. La trama gira intorno a due robot che cercano di diventare umani a qualsiasi costo. Il film è muto, le azioni dei protagonisti vanno interpretate attraverso la musica che accompagna il film per tutta la sua durata. Curioso notare come, a differenza dei due precedenti film del duo transalpino (D.A.F.T.: A Story About Dogs, Androids, Firemen and Tomatoes e Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem), la musica dei Daft Punk non appare nella colonna sonora.

The French duo does it all by himself: he wrote the screenplay, is responsible for directing and for cinematography. The plot revolves around two robots who seek to become human at any cost. The film is silent, the actions of the protagonists must be interpreted through the music that accompanies the film throughout its duration. Curiously, unlike the two previous films of the duo-Alpine (D.A.F.T.: A Story About Dogs, Androids, Firemen and Tomatoes and Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem), the music of Daft Punk does not appear on the soundtrack.

Ma il merito va soprattutto a Steve Bug, Motorcitysoul, Owain K, Vincenzo & Tyson Ballard, KINK & Neville Watson e Sasse che hanno realizzato le 6 tracce che compongono questa compilation in cui l'Acid House si mischia anche ad un pò di Techno. "Forward To The Past 2.1 - The Acid Flashback" uscirà il 16 Novembre, per il momento godetevi questa anteprima. ;)
Those of Poker Flat Recordings have hit the truth, they wanted to revive a genre that now is not so popular as the "Acid and they did it very well. But the credit goes to Steve Bug, Motorcitysoul, Owain K, Vincenzo & Tyson Ballard, KINK & Neville Watson and Sasse who realized the 6 tracks that make up this compilation in which the Acid House mixes well with a bit of Techno. Il suo esordio non poteva essere migliore, questo EP è veramente fantastico! Zimmer è cresciuto tra Francia e California e lo si intuisce subito perchè il suo sound miscela Disco music, Funk, House e French Touch senza essere mai scontato!

For this album the most recurring word is: ft. ("featured" if you prefer the full version XD ) followed by names like Savage Skulls, Carli, Surkin, Style of Eye, Keith & Supabeatz. Oh yes because Crookers are great themselves but since they go around the world have experienced a lot of cool peaople have thought of calling some friends here and there to give a different sound to each tune of the album. A new sound and a lot of collaborations: this is how they presents this new album which is part of "Dr Gonzo" project lounched by Crookers about a year ago. Buon Divertimento! ;)
Una Compilation "per testare i vostri gusti" è così che l'etichetta discografica French Express descrive questo set di tracce completamente gratuito! 11 Tracce, 11 Artisti, una sola compilation in cui sarà impossibile non trovare almeno un esempio del proprio genere musicale preferito. Personalmente ho scaricato tutte le tracce, sono così ben fatte e coinvolgenti che sarebbe un peccato non averle nel proprio pc. ;)
A Compilation "to test your taste" this is how French Express record label describes this completely free set of tracks! 11 Tracks, 11 Artists, only one compilation in where is impossible not to find at least one example of your favourite musical genre. Personally I downloaded all the tracks, that are so well made and engaging that it would be a shame not to have them on your pc. ;)

Il pimo è conosciuto per le sue collaborazioni con i Soulwax (di cui fanno parte i 2manydj's) mentre Shinichi Osawa è il dj giapponese più conosciuto al mondo. Attivo da oltre 20 anni, si è fatto le ossa come bassista e leader del gruppo "Mondo Grosso" per poi continuare con la carriera solista da dj e produttore di musica House, Acid Jazz, Techno ed Elettronica. L'album di cui Vi presentiamo una piccola anteprima contiene 8 tracce inedite in cui i ritmi Techno si uniscono alle sonorità della più recente musica Elettronica. Buon divertimento! ;)

The first is known for his collaborations with Soulwax (which includes 2manydj's) while Shinichi Osawa is the world's most popular japanese dj. Active for over 20 years, has cut his teeth as leader and bass player of "Mondo Grosso" band and then continued with a solo career as dj and producer of Huse, Acid Jazz, Techno and Electronic music. The album which we will present a small preview contains 8 new tracks in which Techno rhythms are combined with the latest Electronic music sounds. Enjoy! ;)
