E' difficile mettere le mani su una canzone di Shook e riuscire a farne un bel remix, la melodia è talmente elaborata che ogni modifica rischia di rovinarne l'equilibrio. DiscoRazor ha accettato la sfida e, come se non bastasse, ha aumentato la difficoltà scegliendo una delle tracce più belle del producer dagli occhiali rossi: "Picture Moment". Il remix che ne è venuto fuori è sorprendente, la natura Chill della traccia viene accentuata da un basso che scandisce la melodia fino alla fine, quando si aggiunge un ipnotico riff elettronico. A nostro avviso, è quasi meglio dell'originale! Enjoy ;)

It's hard to put your hands on a Shook's song and be able to make a good remix, the melody is so elaborate that any modification risks to ruin its balance. DiscoRazor has accepted the challenge and, as if not enough, he increased the difficulty by choosing one of the most beautiful tracks of the red glasses producer: "Picture Moment". The remix that came out is amazing, the Chill nature of the track is accentuated by a slapped Bass that beats the melody to the end, when starts a hypnotic electronic riff. In our opinion, is almost better than the original! Enjoy ;)

Direttamente dal suo canale di Soundcloud, Shook ci offre il download gratuito di "Hold Tight". La traccia è estratta dal suo EP dal titolo "The Rise And Fall EP" in uscita il prossimo 7 Novembre. Ottimo sound (come sempre) e la possibilità di poter scaricarla gratuitamente...perciò andate a scaricarla ad occhi chiusi come ho fatto io! =)

Directly from his Soundcloud channel, Shook offers us a free download of "Hold Tight". This track is taken from his EP titled "The Rise And Fall EP" which is going to be released on November 7th. Excellent sound (as always) and the possibility to download the tune for free...so go download it with closed eyes as I did! =)

Louis La Roche è un giovane Dj, remixer e producer Londinese. Nonostante la sua giovane età (classe 1990) è già noto nel panorama musicale, ha remixato artisti come i Basement Jaxx, Grum, Human Life ed i suoi brani sono stati inseriti in compilation quali "Annie Mac presents" e "Ministry of Sound".

In attesa del suo nuovo EP in uscita ad Ottobre, è stato rilasciato qualche giorno fa un assaggio di quest'ultimo contenente "Gimmie Gimmie", "The Wall" e due remix di quest'ultima firmati da Shook e da J Paul Getto.

Louis La Roche is a young Dj, remixer and producer from London. Despite his young age (he was born in 1990) he's already known in music panorama, he has remixed artists like Basement Jaxx, Grum, Human Life and his tracks has been included in compilations such as "Annie Mac presents" and "Ministry of Sound"

Waiting for his new EP to be released in October, a taste of it has been released a few days ago which contains "Gimmie Gimmie", "The Wall" and a pair of remixes of the latter song signed by Shook and J Paul Getto.

Shook, devo essere sincero, è uno dei miei producer/remixer preferiti! Il suo stile si concilia perfettamente con quelli che sono i miei gusti musicali (di lui parleremo in modo più ampio in un altro post).

Shook, I'm honest, is one of my favourite profucer/remixer!! His style fits perfectly with those who are my musical tastes (we'll talk about him at greater lenght in another post).

J Paul Getto offre un'interpretazione diversa per "The Wall" con sonorità che ricordano la Disco Music (anche le sue produzioni hanno questa caratteristica) e in particolare mi piace moltissimo lo slap bass che accompagna il ritmo!
